All the images projected were recorded in Amsterdam in a 24/7 timeframe and the moving images include sounds from different parts of the city. The imprint of these sounds and images being an ever present echo.
At the moment van Breest Smallenburg is working/living in Amsterdam and the artists’ connection to this vibrant city is ambiguous.
